Jemma Walden is a counsellor, organic backyard farmer and a member of Fair Food Brisbane. Her academic background is in social science, psychology and public health. In recent years, she has been working in community development, health promotion and public health nutrition.
Jemma has witnessed food to be a powerful tool for empowerment and change within individuals, families and communities. She has collaborated with Queensland communities on a range of projects; from teaching cooking classes and food education to implementing healthy eating and community garden programs.
